It was a hard fought battle...never seen in my entire life of electing a new government. Both sides have campainged well with strategies and goodies. Pakatan Rakyat led by the charismatic Anwar Ibrahim, the Ex Deputy Premier charmed large crowd of supporters specifically the youth with his eloquent speeches and promises wherever he went.

Not to be outdone, Najib Tun Razak, the Premier  brought basketful of goodies spraying real projects wherever he stopped. Through his transformation programmes of BR1M, KR1M and all 1 Malaysia products, the people especially the Malays in the heartful were convinced that here lies a leader who is closed to the people though the urban folks seemed to be sceptical.

The voting process passed by peacefully. By 8.00 pm Sunday night, the results kept creeping in...By midnight, Barisan Nasional, the ruling party reached the magical figure of 112 Parliament seats to retained PUTRAJAYA.

The smiling Najib Razak, leader of BN appeared on TV to claim victory.

The final count: BN 133 PR 89 totalling 222 parliamentary seats. Though BN came out with less seats and the opposition failed to unseat BN, the people nonetheless have spoken...

Its time now to regroup, move forward, consolidate and work...There is so much to do.
