BN IS THE NEW PERAK STATE GOVERNMENT

His Royal Highness the Sultan of Perak Sultan Azlan Shah has declined to give his consent to dissolve the State Assembly and has ordered Dato' Seri Mohamad Nizar to resign as Menteri Besar paving the way for BN to lead the new government in Perak.

Pangkor State Assemblyman, Dato' Dr Zambry bin Abdul Kadir has received the Royal consent to be the next Menteri Besar of Perak. He is due to be sworn in at 3.30 pm today.

Pakatan Rakyat should respect HRH the Sultan of Perak's decision and bow out gracefully.

To Dato' Seri Mohamad Nizar, you have actually performed reasonably well as a rookie MB in that short space of time. Regroup your team and fight the battle another day.

The political war is just beginning and seems to be long, ugly and fierce.

To Dato' Dr Zambri and his new exco, I wish them 'SELAMAT BERTUGAS'. It is still a long and winding road. Winning the confidence of the Rakyat of Perak is going to be a real challenge.
