I was glancing through the pages of the ‘World of Watches’ magazine. The caption on Vulcain catches my eyes especially when former presidents of USA like Harry Truman, D. Eisenhower, Lyndon Baines Johnson and Richard Nixon were said to don the brand.
Vulcain timepieces apparently graced a few other subsequent presidents’ hands hence the nickname ’The Presidents’ Watch’.
My inquisitive mind leads me to enquire further about the Vulcain models currently use by Mr Barack Obama, the present USA President.
Here it is the Vulcain Golden Heart limited edition worn by Obama. Apparently only 150 timepieces of this model were produced in 2008 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vulcain, founded in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Maurice Ditisheim back in 1858.
The only piece of that model available in Ipoh is marked as N108 or the 108th piece of the 150 units produced currently retail at RM21,950.00 before discount.
Wonder what kind of timepiece and which brand graces our PM’s wrist...

Yes, Vulcain nicknamed as President Watch. I read it in some article that those President wore Vulcain Cricket Alarm watch.
