NOT JUST A PRETTY FACE...

Niched at a little corner in the cabinet in a watch merchant shop, it was sitting there for quite sometime. We noticed it the first time but just didn’t give a second look. It was the odd one amongst the many new designs displayed.

After frequent visits, the owner, as part of his refurbishment exercise, surprisingly offered us the clock cheaply. On closer examination, it looks  prettier with its intricate design and patterns.

The dial is very clean modelled by Citizen of Japan.

Wonder whether Citizen is still producing table clocks and wall clocks.

Weighing 2 kg measuring 35 cm x 24 cm x 8 cm, it has found a little cosy corner in our house to call its home and running accurately keeping us on time every hour with its pleasant chimes.

Walaupun jam moden tapi nilai-nilai seni jelas terpancar!

Dear rezzywaddy,

Nice to know you appreciate this neo-classical clock especially as a wedding present.
I bought this from a watch merchant who still has another new unit at his shop for sale.
