It was too tempting to miss. The opportunity to do another makeover came with the arrival of a Bentima from Sarawak. Thanks Ijan.
Everything about the watch was fantastic except for the wear and tear on the body.
So, we decided why not give it a new clothing in the form of gold plating.
We dropped by at our reliable ‘dukun jam’ shop and hand over the watch with specific instruction for a makeover. He was delighted, as usual, at the chance.
A week passed by and yesterday we collected the result.
For the good or the bad, here it is for all to see...

Nice job, totaly convert kan... dari faded chrome (kalau tak silap, sebab dulu minat jugak jam ni)ke gold plated. Berapalah pulak kena tu?... macam ni kalu boleh buat untung besar lah... cari jam buruk pi bikin cantik boleh jual harga baik punya...
Prof, kasilah satu dua jam kami make over kat Ipoh. RM50 saja.
cun...kalau letak gambar 'before & after' jam tu lagi bagus....boleh tengok perbezaannya...utk salut chrome ada tak?

Melihat gambar-gambar yg Dato' posted, saya tarik balik statement saya dlm blog Jamkoleksi... keaslian masih terpancar and it's so beautiful!!! How come they charge RM50 in Ipoh but charged me RM100 in KL! mcm ni nak pindah Ipoh le....save cost byk! Satu soalan Dato', dial dia redone ke? nampak berkilat semacam berbanding dulu, kalau ade kat Ipoh boleh redone dial bg tau tempat boleh? Respect!
